HANDMADE BRITISH FROSTPROOF POTS
Specially selected clay is used to make all of the flowerpots in this range. The natural terracotta,
which is all quarried in Yorkshire, is also used to make bricks and roof tiles
and so is regularly tested
for its durability. The unique structure of this clay, together with high firing
temperatures of up to
1050 degrees C, means that all items are both frostproof and porous, making them ideal garden pots.
All of the terracotta flowerpots are made by hand on the potter’s wheel by a small, dedicated
team of highly skilled craftsmen. With over 100 years of experience between them, the team
are constantly developing new designs for the enthusiastic gardener, and have pooled
their knowledge to produce the ultimate range of pots for container gardening.
